Still holding her as he took her from the party, Nick flew someplace he thought they could talk... uninterrupted.

Considering how long he had to be in the office whenever he was in his office, Nick was understandably a little bored in as he sat as his desk and corrected his own fifty-or-so year old book from the University of Chicago.

It was oddly soothing.
