I drove home along I-71 on Sunday through the windstorms - only a few gusts were bad enough to really throw the car around, and there weren't a lot of other cars really close to me at that point.  The big issue was gas - I nearly ran out, as most of the stations were closed.  If dmitriizhirov  had not filled my gas tank Saturday night, I would not have made it ( Read more... )

Ah, this is obviously some strange usage of the word "safe" that I wasn't previously aware of.

Dad has finally tracked down my camera.  It must have been sent "signature required" because, even though I never got a note from the courier telling me they were trying to deliver it, it was sent back to the company he ordered it from.  He has asked them to ship it to him (since he works from home and can sign for it) and it should be there in ( Read more... )
