My help for moving the furniture is evaporating faster than the rain from a quick shower on a 90 degree day.  

Let us not kid ourselves that I will remember everything in this one post, nor will I be able to remember everything in chronological order.  This is more of a highlights post.  I may write about more stuff in detail later, but I'm in the middle of moving everything this week, so maybe I won't.

Car is packed. Now I just need to run around and do things like feed cats, clean litter, fill the cooler, and shower. Yes, I saved showering for last so that I'll at least be comfortable for a few hours in the car before getting sweaty again. Back in a week or so!

1. Get oil change.
2. Empty dishwasher and wash the few dishes that I have used since Phil and Carol left. - oops.  Run dishwasher.  Thursday will be empty dishwasher day. 
3. Put ice packs in freezer. This gives me one more day to do this in case I forget.
4. Prepare mail that needs to go out before I leave.

Paperclips are not an endangered species, nor an expensive luxury item that cannot be replaced, nor is there a dire shortage of them in the world. When a paperclip becomes so distorted is it no longer functional (ie doesn't CLIP PAPERS together), it's ok to take it out of the community paper clip bin. Work is sooooooooo slow right now, which just makes waiting to leave for Pennsic that much harder. So far, to fill time, I have cleaned up both my computer desktop and my physical desktop, and I still don't have quite enough to do. I just want to go.

Fire Roasted Tomato and Olive Oil Triscuits have been sent from the devil to wreck my snack budget. There are never coupons for these things and they rarely go on sale, but they are soooooooooooo good.

Today I printed out my class handouts for Pennsic, printed some other miscellaneous papers I needed, shopped for my youth pointe class (although I ended up deciding to use different supplies because of the costs), got my haircut, and fully emptied the storage unit. yay! The library demo went well. I had Soffya, Caedmon, Cathryn, Elspeth and her son Josh to help (I want to post a thank you note to the spot, but not until after the Pennsic-going folk are resubscribed automatically.) My personal day for Friday has been approved. I will be packing the car Thursday night and leaving for Pennsic bright and early Friday morning.
