Hey, I got an apartment! Cool stuff, eh? Southside of Clevleand, right up against the border of Parma. Can I afford it? Probably not. But I'm gonna try anyway. Tentative moving date is April 1st - Saturday. And no this is not a preemptive april fool's joke.

Well, there's no way to sugarcoat it or give it a worthy lead in, so I'll just say it. My mother passed away last night. As sad as that is, it's more a relief than anything else. Well, I received what appears to be a job offer yesterday. I'm only 98% sure about that, but it seems that's what the email meant. So, hopefully pretty soon here I'll be a member of the Case Western Reserve University Biophysics and Physiology department. Well, I just got back from trying out contact lenses again. Wow, complete and utter failure :) Just as I suspected, my right eye (the bad one) doesn't physically open wide enough to fit a lense in.
