The repeating process of lost innocence
I'm obviously not perfect. I have screwed people over, and caused my share of unjust situations. Despite this, I feel like I'm - overall - trustworthy and honest. At very least, I try to be. Tenements
I saw Bob Wright and Harbortown perform at my local library this week; Harbortown includes my uncle playing upright bass, amongst other instruments. They performed one song off of their recently released CD that resonated strongly with me; it's an a cappella song and I couldn't help but attribute the four chords that I know to it and perform it ( Read more... ) -

I don't know when it happened, but I now approach milestones in my life as significant signs that I'm getting older and closer to death instead of appreciating them for the inherent pride or joy in them. I guess there's a little of that, but then the wave of mortality thought sweeps over me.
