Outlander on STARZ (Scots and kilts!!)
STARZ is bringing Outlander to their network this summer. I read this series of books when they were first published, and again over the past twenty years. They are categorized as "historical romance fiction". Not my usual choice of reading material, but the first book really sucked me in and I have stayed with it. COLD!!!
Holy crap it is cold here! 3 degrees F* With the wind, it feels like -10 F* There is an upcoming snowstorm as well, supposedly starting about 10 pm EST and lasting all night. I was watching a Castle episode. An FBI guy is interviewing a suspect and he wants to find out where the guy planted a bomb. He gets so angry that he pushes the guy down and draws his gun on him. Saturdays
A very wet and miserable day here. I was hoping for a dry day, to finish up some yard work. Oh well. The wind last night was really strong. Gusts up to 50 mph. It wasn't raining yet, so I took some linen out and shook it to blow the dust and pet hair out of it. There was a frisbee laying in the back yard, but it has disappeared. Really?
The concepts of some "reality" tv shows and the participants astound me. A Canadian show, Property Brothers, helps people find their "dream home". The first home that they show the client is the wish list home with all the bells and whistles on their list. It is ALWAYS out of budget.
