Oooh, gotta love meddling younger brothers and Kara and Lee too of course. They really do have this innate sense of what the other needs and they play off each other very well when they allow it, and I think you've captured that nicely.

Oh my. I really love this chapter :) The small changes you made just make it feel more electric between Kara and Lee. Their relationship seems so innocent in some ways. Your use of sensory language makes me feel quite sentimental. I can't wait for more. Keep up the excellent work. ;)

I liked the way he could see the connection between them so easily. And the way Kara decides she's got to pull herself together so Lee will stop worrying about her...well, I just loved the whole chapter really.

I did chuckle when Lee was thinking how Zak made it look so easy with Maggie...not everyone makes things as difficult for themselves as he and Kara like to do!

--Thank you so much. I think it's because of his connection with Maggie that he can pick up on it so easily. (Though, it's not like it isn't obvious to almost everyon. ;)) I needed Kara to get out of her slump, and I just really liked the idea that even though she maybe wasn't willing to do it for herself, that she'd do it for Lee.
