Title: Passings Author: Obfusc8er Word Count: 100 Rating: G Warnings: Angst (Hey, it's me.) Written for hseas_challenge. Challenge Number: 1 - Film Interpretation Summary: Something is lost in the reach between worlds.
Holy moses, missy, fine as kind this what you've writ. "Words much crueler than a sly kiss lay balanced on his tongue." What a chockful, document length world in that one statement.
"his mouth tastes bitter and his heart's rubbed raw when he tells her the truth" JeezLouise, you are so dead on the money, hope you bought a lottery ticket when you wrote this line--Jack doesn't like violence or cruelty and this line says it all, cos it makes him remember when others were cruel to him.
"like him, she'll become her own undoing." You didn't need to break my heart too--this line is stunning, so innately true of Jack and so honest of what he's done to himself. Man, this is something, an inviting pool, with some of the deepest waters, beautiful and painful both. Thank you.

Yeah. I think Jack is generally empathetic, though he'd rather not have others know that.
Your comments are much appreciated.
