Mireille is asleep on my lap and I think my wrist might fall off. I hate to move her though because she'll wake if I do. The kids are exhausted today. Lucien was in bed late and up way too early. Well, to begin with, camp is over! And it ended pretty well, I think we were able to undo the damage. And in any case it is no longer my problem. Now we are gearing up for the school year. The sad news first . . .
Hi. I'm still here. I'll begin with the sad news. Remember in my last post I mentioned the man I did camp with last year? The one who was really good at it? And got laid off? I learned this morning that he passed away over the weekend. He had a heart attack and now . . . he's just gone. He was in his mid to late 40's. He leaves two teenage ( Read more... ) -

Thinking hard about the whale watch, I have decided not to take the baby. I think I am just going to take my manual pump and pump enough for comfort. Since I will have Saturday and Sunday to pump a supply for her for Monday, I think I can make this work. Here is my dilemma: The camp I am teaching (more on that later) has a whale watch planned for Friday. We have to take a two hour bus ride to Plymouth, and we catch the boat there. I just found an old friend on Facebook. We were best friends in jr high, and lost touch when we went to different high schools. i've tried to find her many times over the years, and finally succeeded. Wow. I didn't realize quite how long it has been since I posted. Summer has finally begun for us, and this week has been one of trying to recover. We were away last week.
