Glee. 3,508 words. I don't know how this ended up so long! I kinda had to sacrifice Puck's inner monologue-ish third person narrator for this chapter because I had too much Rachel stuff going on and dialogue and I'm bad at multi-tasking :( But have no fear, it should be swinging back around next chapter. I just came across this story and my goodness, I loved every bit of it. Great characterization and voices for the characters. There's intensity and humor and I love the balance of it. Can't wait for more.

great characterisation, especially Puck. and I'm loving how you've developed their friendship into something real, and the attraction, and I love the humour, too. Like the Liza Minelli CD falling out of his locker, and SHE TOTALLY JUST SAID PENIS. WHY DID HE FIND THIS SO HILARIOUS?

I also love lines like-
“Just so I get it straight: you think the only way I can get a guy is by not being me?”

“Exactly.”

She looked at him for a moment and he could have sworn there was some freaky ass, I-see-into-your-soul, Jedi mind trick shit going on. When she spoke again, she had that same concerned expression. “I’d take offense to that if you didn’t think the same thing about yourself.”

Though Puck and Rachel hooking up while Rachel doesn't know the truth about Quinn's baby can only make things messier...

You have an amazing grasp on these characters, and I mean it when I say this is the best Puck I've read.
And I've read a lot of Puckleberry fics.

Making angels cry is definitely not okay in my book. I better get crackin then! LOL in all seriousness, have no fear, you guys will probably get a new chapter in the next day or two as long as my schedule continues to cooperate.
