In regards to what Georgia wrote this morning, while I agree that the compendiums are the Tale version of blogging, with its own politics and problems, I'd still like to say a few words about Dottie Fairchild, especially for those who never met her or even knew her before they read about her name here

Thank you for the sentiment. The mood in the Atheneum is completely different now, due to people who think just as you do, and for the sake of our future, I hope it stays this way, if not, then become more open.

She was a very nice woman, I think I was around 17 when I first met her. I think she taught a lot of us.
