In regards to what Georgia wrote this morning, while I agree that the compendiums are the Tale version of blogging, with its own politics and problems, I'd still like to say a few words about Dottie Fairchild, especially for those who never met her or even knew her before they read about her name here ( Read more... )

Thank you for the sentiment. The mood in the Atheneum is completely different now, due to people who think just as you do, and for the sake of our future, I hope it stays this way, if not, then become more open.

She was a very nice woman, I think I was around 17 when I first met her. I think she taught a lot of us.
