That's it, I can't take it anymore... I've been inspired to start a diet as well:)  My lovely friend Kathleen and Lance both recently started a diet of sorts, so I am jumping aboard. :D  Nothing too complicated, just watching calories and trying to be a bit more active, and if that works I'll add a bit of exercise, and who knows, next year I could ( Read more... )

ll youre starting whre I want to be!!!

I have an excel log too- I track points, calculate how much I can have for dinner, my weight (weekly) and the point values for random things I can get in the office kitchen. it works- its harder than I thought- it's HARD to wake up early and exercise, but given my low goal (50 pounds in 309 days) I think I'm still on track.

I really like the points- and i can actually see it as a real life change, vs 'eat this soup for a week' type thing.

:) It IS hard... I totally blew my first day! Stupid concert and beers:D I like to think of what we are doing as a life change verse a fad diet too. One of the most intriguing points about the WW point system is that it supposedly teaches portion control, which I think is most of my problem. I am here for you, always feel free to email or call if you are having a hard day:)

What I also love is that you posted a list of 1 pt snacks, which might be a great way for you to have stuff at your desk that won't make you splurge from the office kitchen. Yummy campbell's hand soup's are only 1 pt! Score!!!!
