Rainy long weekend. Made for good movie-watching time... We watched State of Play. Pretty good, but also predictable. We had it figured out pretty early on. Also I had a hard time believing little Ben Affleck went to school with manly Russel Crowe.

What a knitter dreams like
One of the joys of the wondrous craft that is knitting is the planning part, the dreaming part, the queuing of patterns, the stashing of yarn, the matching up of stash with patterns. Stuff i'm preoccupied with lately
Cycling: I've come a long way since July 4th, the first time Neil and I did the long bike ride. Gosh was it really two whole months ago? Time goes fast. Anyways. What a difference that time, and all the shorter bike rides in between as well as my recently adding running to my fitness regimen, has made. The first time it took us 2.5 hours. ( Read more... ) -

Books!
I have a $50 GC for chapters indigo books that I've been holding on to for quite some time. I want to get knitting books!! Any recommendations out there from my fellow knitters?
Here's some titles I'm considering:
Knitting without tears by Elizabeth Zimmerman. Classic literature.
