I had a 2 pm appointment today to show one of my rental properties. I was early and they were late, as is so often the case on these things. I slipped into a parking spot on the side of the road across from my property, and turning the heat up just a bit let my head fall back against the headrest. I actually had an amazing stretch of days, Thursday through Sunday. Slept very little, had some amazing times in a variety of settings, and with a wide ranging group of people, some old and some new. Too bad I can't tell you about any of it here.

This is so lame.

I would really like to know how toys ever became a multi-billion dollar industry. My kids have every freakin toy under the sun, many of which are strewn all over the living room as I type this, yet what is my daughter playing with? My copy of this month's Architectural Digest and a dirty rock Tristan brought in from outside. Niiiiiice.

The nanny actually showed up for day two, and seemed to have an easier go of it. I'm fairly sure she'll actually be back today...lol.

Ahhh, there's nothing quite like the smell of thawing dog shit on the first really warm day of the spring.
