I have decided this is an annual ONTD tradition now. I make a post about K-dramas I watched over the past year and solicit everyone else's favorite dramas and we all have a good time etc etc. The last couple of years, I think I did best and worst dramas, but TBH, this year, I didn't really watch anything BAD. I watched a few dramas that were ( Read more... )

If you are in the US or Canada, it should be on Hulu/Disney. Not sure about other regions it's not available on any platform for me.

Lovely Runner was the best, my first drama that I watched live and I was so excited when new episodes dropped.

My current fav is Family by Choice.

Recently Netflix suggested Witch of Court but I gave up after the 2nd episode, the main FL is just awful.

Yes, it's a remake. I never watched the Chinese version because it has too many episodes but the Korean version is great imo.

I will check out Juvenile Justice, thanks for the rec!

Just finished Family by Choice. Loved everything about it. The father of Woo Jun is one of my fave actors, he is so good in everything.

I am still semi-obsessed with the Lovely Runner. So glad you told me to watch it fauxkaren

There is a really good fanfiction story from opposite perspective that's actively updating that I would recommend (Sun Jae is the going back in time):

I liked Lovely Runner, but I guess I wasn't as into it as most people ( ... )

A Virtous Business started well, but then somehow it switched from being centered around women to male-centered, so that was weird. The cast helped carry the last episodes also with that shift.

IA so hard! When the show was about the 4 women and them trying to succeed in business and their differences and challenges, it was really good. But the pivot towards the male lead and his adoption storyline... meh. Dragged the whole show down.

Yeah, that pivot made no sense to me. And I like the actor and the character, it's just it felt like a different drama from the moment it started to center him. The ratings were good, so in that sense they probably knew what they were doing, but it was still sad to see that switch-up

my top 3 kdramas that i watched this year was lovely runner, vigilante, and let free the curse of taekwondo. i read somewhere that there was a possibility of season 2 of vigilante and I NEED IT. but i felt like it was the usual rumor i see of all the shows i look up after watching, ‘rumors of a season 2’ and then nothing. unless you are on netflix and you keep bringing back shows that don’t need a season 2 (except you bloodhounds, you deserve a season 2).
