Not a happy trip

So my mom just came home for a day, and shes kinda an emotional wreck. Its understandable, sence her dads dieing.. but it hurts me to see her hurt. Tommorow im goign to go back to vancouver with her and see him a couple last times before he dies. He might live, dont get me wrong he might live still, but what can you do if he doesnt want to eat and

I see that a lot in the hospital setting; not wanting to eat, or get up, just wanting to die. Most of the time it's for the best. It's hard to suffer after you've lived for such a long time. You'd think that I would be almost desensitized to death. I see people dying every day I go into KGH, but it never gets easier to watch and to feel so helpless. Hang in there love, sometimes the best thing is just to be present with someone.
