so it's a girl! we found out on monday & i'm so excited, i was hoping for a little girl. i'm still thinking about names, but jeremy & i are partial to isabel right now.

there's one single fly that got into our apartment & it's been flying in circles in the same three foot vicinity since yesterday morning. i never see it land & i don't like killing things anyway, i mean i do kill bugs but only ones that might bite or crawl in my ear & lay eggs. i hate bugs.

i'm 3½ months pregnant.

what am i supposed to say here? i'm not afraid anymore, i just want everything to work out, i just want to have my baby & be happy & live simply.

is that so much to ask?

it seems like i always think of so much i need to say, but when i sit down to write it all out i forget, i forget the months & gaps & life-altering events, i come back to five years ago when i started this thing, nothing changes, everything is different.
