Back in August I was asked to preach at my church on October 14th. I agreed and have spent portions of the last two months preparing a message. Last night I was walking through the kitchen and I observed that coffee had spilled onto the hotplate of the coffee maker, overflowed onto the counter, and run off the edge, down the cabinet and made a rather large splashy mess on the floor.
