I made stuffed acorn squash the other day, and I really wanted to put kale in the stuffing, but I didn't have any. and then for the next few days, I kept thinking about how well kale would go together with squash, and how I really needed to make a recipe with them ( Read more... )

I just went exploring for a month. it was fun. I am sleepy.

new favorite activity: reading italian websites that were clearly translated into english via computer.

I'm in Boulder visiting CU this weekend. It is a pretty good city. I'm extremely spoiled by Northampton, but while Noho wins in the quaint New England architecture category, Boulder competes in just about everything else. The landscape (and the weather) is beautiful, and the culture is appealingly left wing/hippie/"not reality" as one of my grad ( Read more... )

I visited Brown this weekend. The department was a good size, the town was nice, the other students were friendly, and even more importantly, they seemed passionate about what they were studying. I went to the first half of a 6th grade talent show today. One kid had made this absolutely hilarious video where he basically jogged in place, and then filmed himself at various well-known landmarks in Northampton jogging in place with the people there.
