1. Some how I missed that Twilight has a religion associated with it. But now I've found a new blog to follow because the entries are entertaining - except that I really don't want to support any form of celebrity journalism.
But how can anyone hold to ethics when you have tongue-and-cheek posts like this?

I think it's official. After a two-week hiatus of blogs and LJ, I am binging.
My main obsession right now? Jackson Pearce's (watchmebe ) vlogs.

Reading Junkie
I've been on a reading spree lately.
Since the last week of January (when the ice storm hit and we were without power for five days) I've read( Below the cut are shameless plugs ) -

Guess who didn't remember to reset the old cell phone she uses as an alarm, so she got up an hour early today?
I'm going to make a real breakfast now, so I guess something good came out of it. Though I bet I take an afternoon nap to make up for this. -
Writing software
Due to an entry on shay_writes about using Microsoft's program OneNote, I followed a link to a NaNo discussion on novel software. (That would be software to use while writing novels.) They've listed some applications that aid the writing process. And they're freeware. (Overly simplified definition: they're free!)

Writer's Block: The Beatles
I was under the impression that the Beatles were considered Rock, not pop. I'm playing with semantics perhaps, but "Pop" does not mean "Popular" music anymore. When the Beatles are grouped with Elvis Presley and The Rolling Stones in terms of sound and impact on the world, they shouldn't be classified in the same genre as the Backstreet ( Read more... ) -

Finished reading Pattie Boyd's (auto)biography Wonderful Tonight. (Is it still an autobiography if someone else helped write it?) Ever since I closed the cover, I've been grateful that I never married George Harrison or Eric Clapton. Though I must admit the money, music, and George's British accent would have ( Read more... ) -
