Craig's wedding was yesterday. This was the first high-school mini-reunion I'd gone to, and, to put it bluntly, probably the weirdest one I went to. Hurricane Ivan forced LSU to close today and tomorrow. I wasn't too happy about the closings when I found out yesterday evening, as I had wanted to get my Organic Chem test over with (and was also worried that it'd be scheduled as a Friday night exam). Labor day was uneventful. I brought a Creative Labs 2.1 speaker set to complement (well, actually to disable) the tinny, cheap-sounding speakers built in my laptop. So, now, I can actually enjoy listening to mp3s, audio CDs, and movies. Remember those times in which you wake up randomly, quite early in the morning? Well, I woke up at 4:50 AM today and realized that there's no way I'd be up at around 6:30 for the morning Economics class. So, I've dropped it, and I'm planning to take it correspondence. In the meantime, I need to go to the Co-op and return the book.

So the first day of class was today. My first class in the morning, the seminar on Apartheid, probably will be an exciting, interesting, and somewhat laid-back class.
