i am reading through jean's old livejournal entries. it's amazing how much time she and i spent together while she was still living in boston. honestly, every other sentence has my name in it. which makes me kind of happy that she moved to new york. obviously because she wanted to but also because it gave me a year to get used to not seeing her ( Read more... )

so this past month has been the toughest of my entire life. on september 28th, my best friend jean decided to leave her brooklyn apartment for coffee. on her way home, only a block away from her apartment, she was struck by a car. she was rushed to the hospital but in the early hours of september 29th she died. she was 29 years old ( Read more... )

Christmas eve eve. I love this time of year - my favorite by far. Tomorrow is my favorite day of the year. And today is my last day of work until next Monday.
