I'm thinking I want to grow out my hair a good 4 or 6 inches. It's currently a couple inches past my collarbone, and I want it to be long enough that I can donate it to Locks of Love (10 in) or the Pantene one (8 in) and still have a feminine style that I can pull out of my face for running, capoeira, etc ( Read more... )

It really bothers me that strangers and acquaintances feel entitled to comment on my body size. Never would they go to an overweight woman, touch her stomach, and comment on how huge it was. I'm not sure if I should call it the first or fourth anniversary of her death..

Also, it's -13 out. without windchill. Whoa.

Receiving graduate/law school brochures makes me incredibly nervous. All the glossy pages and interesting tidbits and pictures of the campus make me think about what I'm missing by NOT going to that school. Of course, that's the point of these brochures, but I think my reaction is a bit extreme. I can't help but wonder if the grass is greener ( Read more... )

I am worried that I committed to doing too many things over break. I'm going to get 20 pages o fmy thesis done... relearn Russian..... take this one week cash research job.... clean everything..... meh.

However, I got two law school acceptances, and a researchship offer. It's good feeling appreciated.

I have to admit, it's realllly hard to find vegetarian food that can stand up to cabernet sauvignon. I paired it with some Emmertal cheese and Brie left in my fridge, as those are the only things I could find that even remotely went with it. Classic pairs are venison or braised lamb.
