Cerca 2080--Earth's population is approximately twelve billion. The UN decides to try and colonize other planets.
2085--Lilith Sahl is created in India.
2088--Abel and Cain are created in London and Germany, respectively.
2098--Seth is created in Canada.
Cerca 2099--the Red Mars project begins. The colonists sent to Mars discover Bacillus nano-machines on Mars and inject it into their bodies, which grants them stronger constitutions than the people remaining on Earth. The Crusnik nano-machines are discovered and given to the leaders of the Mars colonization project, Lilith, Abel, Seth, and Cain. When the people of Earth find out what happened to the colonists, they all want the nano-machines for themselves, which marks the start of the Armageddon war wherein much of the world and its technology is destroyed by nuclear warfare.
Cerca 2100--Armageddon is over, Europe being one of very few continents left intact as most of the weapons used on it were biological. A group of Mars colonists--"returners"--go
