ESTHER BLANCHETT
second daughter of Prince Gilbert and Princess Victoria of Albion and legal heir to the throne
had an elder sister Mary, daughter of one of Gilbert's mistresses
Mary's mother planned the murder of Princess Victoria and Esther. Victoria was successfully killed, but Esther at the time of the plot was in the care of her nurse. Her nurse gave Esther to her husband, Edward White, a knight of the court; he took her to Istvan. Edward placed Esther in the care of St. Matthias's Church in Istvan, telling the bishop there to take care of "Esther Blanchett". He left the church and was never seen again.
possesses two important clues to her royal origin: the star-shaped birthmark on her side and the rosary she carries, which belonged to her mother the princess (though she was told it was her father's)
didn't know of her true origins until she went to Albion and her birthright was made clear to her
led a resistance faction in Hungary against the Marquis Gyula
