Got a new camera, and a couple of new lenses this year. The Canon Digital Rebel T2i (which is basically a 550D in plastic clothing) and the 70-300 IS lens is what I'm working with right now.

Software experimentation
So, playing with Adobe Lightroom and RAW image files, I'm starting to like how much one can tweak a photo.
I think it punched this iris up just enough to make it pop, myself.
