Ugh, I have not been feeling good the last couple of days. I don't think my body responds well to pain medication like vicodin. For the last two days my head was fuzzy, and I would feel sick if I stood up for more than a couple minutes. My knee is looking better, however. I got through the night last night without taking any pain meds, so I am

Narcotics are notorious for causing nausea and other related issues in patients, especially ones who don't have a tolerance for it (which I'm guessing you don't, given that you never struck me as the drug addict and/or needs lots of painkillers for chronic condition types). If you have to take pain meds, have your doctor give you anti-nausea med with the pain meds, and that will take care of most of the problem.

This is what I am afraid of, heading down that spiral of taking more meds for the meds I'm already on. I might just stick with some ibuprofren for the pain. It only really hurts now when I stand up.
