Abarmoff has been sentenced to prison, they successfully got that Christian guy out of Afghanistan, the government raised fuel efficiency standards, and Charles Taylor was arrested trying to cross the Nigerian border. I don't hate the world today.

Now, if we could just get Jill Carrol back.

A glimpse into the world of a geologist:

I'm on a granite-related e-mail list (of course, aren't you?) and it's been completely quiescent, until somebody brought up beer. Then there were 17 mass e-mails about beer and geology/beer related puns.
