Death T minus 1.5 hours

Yesterday the line to see Paris Hilton at the Best Buy near me went around the corner for more than two blocks. Most of the line was filled with scantilly clad overweight young women desperately trying to live up to a disgusting American ideal.. anyway yeah I was grossed out.

For now work continues to be quite therapeutic. Hurray for my junior high survival skills of burrying personal life in academic enterprises. If only it were possible to get a real "A" on my final FINAL exam on crack... at best I can hope for a pass.

Good job me! I twisted my ankle today quite nicely. I've long prided myself on never doing any serious harm to myself and I guess i still haven't but my ankle is the size of an orange. Ahh today i feel Irish.. The combination of my food and someone's guess to my ethnicity are making me face my Irish heritage. Aside from my smoked salmon sourdough sandwich, more norwegian than Irish I think, I'm having barley kale stew and a bright green drink.. I was quite upset when I first got my computer home and wasn't able to acquire access to any of the wireless networks in my neighborhood.. Well that problem is no more :) Hurray Mac Powerbook! I fear though that my deviant feelings will wane once I check our router and find out if it's also a wireless router :(
