Back from China, but still on China time*. And according to my belly, it's dinner time at one of Shanghai's extra fine super delicious vegetarian food eating establishments. Sadly, freezer-burnt oatmeal at 4AM in sleeping Austin isn't the same. It's awesome. No, it's not really, but here are some pictures I took:

Chive bao sounds sooo good, I wish I could try some. The first thing I thought of when you said you were visiting Shanghai was the pork dumplings! I try to avoid pork in other foods but I still can't resist pork in chinese foods, especially dumplings. Too bad we couldn't teleport some chive bao over here.

About the hair: Neil and I are always giggling about the awesome hair that some people from Asian countries sport, especially China and Japan. And by awesome, sometimes we mean the super-cool gravity-defying J-rock hair, and sometimes the awesomely bad hair. Either way, it's all win!
