Japan is great. I am in Tokyo, I am speaking Japanese 24/7. I am being understood, and I am being misunderstood. Things are good.

11 more days in Massachusetts, in the USA, speaking English. I know virtually nothing about my host family except for their names and address. I know once I get over there I'll have to sign up for classes, get a cellphone, set up a Japanese bank account etc. yet not being able to act on any of this now and having it hang over me is no fun at all!

Got my visa today. Working on another song... I guess I'm just pumping them out. I wish I had a band, (or maybe some talented robots) then I could have other people play the instruments I don't feel like playing.

Been working on music lately, backwards guitar solos and vocals for my album mostly. Its August 23rd and I leave for Japan September 18th. Lots to do before then, -like get my visa from the Japanese consulate. Most of my friends have left for school again ( Read more... )
