I have taken the liberty of going to your profile page and clicking upon the "add friend" link. After careful examination of your profile, I have decided you are most likely not a serial killer, or are at least hiding it very well, and I may therefore make you acquaintance freely. You may add me back at you leisure.
No problem! I like meeting new people via LJ. Do you have Celiac disease, or do you just recognize the inherent evil in bread? I used to love cake, but alas cake does not love me back. :)
Eddie Izzard is a fine use of you time. Have you by any chance seen any of The Riches? I have the first season on DVD, and I love him on it. He and Minnie Driver are great, and I have fun waiting for bits of his accent to pop through. Occasionally BBC America will air one of his show on a Sunday night, and I can get my Eddie fix.
Hi! Cool, I love meeting new interwebs friends. :) I've gone ahead and added you, welcome to the crazy train. Yay for for a steam enthusiast AND a comic geek. :) Did you see the preview of Warren Ellis' steampunk Sherlock Holmes pastiche on scans_daily? it was sorta awesome.
Aetheric Mechanics? it's out, but I haven't read it yet. I'm sure I could find a place for you to download it, if you don't object to that kind of thing...
I actually have my downloading connections, but thanks muchly for offering! I just didn't realize it was out yet.
My deal with dl-ing: I am poor. I use torrents, f-serves, etc. to see if I like a comic. If I do, I'll buy it. If you're indie, I'll buy it and give you the check you deserve. But if you're DC or Marvel and it's another freakin' "event" and you're pissing me off, I'll be damned if I give you my cash. And I'm probably not along with that sentiment, huh? :)
I'm not sure if we've met in person, but I know you're Buzzy's friend, you have excellent grammar, and you love science fiction.
Also, if we've met in person, I apologize profusely for not remembering you. "Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad," to quote Rossetti.
Hi! I think we met once, but briefly. Or maybe I've just heard your name before from Buzzy. Either way, hi! I've satisfied myself that you are not an axe murderer, or at least are an axe murderer with similar interests. :) Busting out a Rossetti quote wins you an A plus on my Livejournal land! *adds back*
Dangit, potatocubed already used the "your ideas are intriguing" comment I wanted to use. Well, it's still true, either way: I would like to be friended, please. ^_^
