theres an article on msn today entitled "ten movies that would have been better without the 'happily ever after.'" martha brockenbrough seems to have a thing against people ending up together, happily, despite having gone through some rough patches. she wants more movies to end like casablanca in a "just because i'm alone doesnt mean i'm not loved

happy endings have gotten trite these days. hollywood needs to cater to the cynics a little more often.

yeah... its a fine line and which side i'm on can vary. if i wake up tomorrow feeling sorry for myself, then i'll be a cynic for the day. but today i just woke up hoping theres more and take comfort in the thought that all the trials will eventually pay off in the end.
