Debugging Tutorial
I'm working on a tutorial for my students. The idea is to get them to at least SEE a debugger in first year, to give them a taste of trying to write to a description rather than a semi-precise set of requirements, and obviously to give them some practice fixing bugs. On the differences between Canadians and Americans
In preparation for #obamawa as the twitter-folk put it (Obama's visit to Canada today), they welded some of the manholes shut downtown, and removed some mailboxes.
elira and I had immediate images of people hanging out in manholes and mailboxes, then popping up to take pictures of or wave at Obama.

As my solace, at least I am among the last of my friends to succumb to this bout of the common cold.
