SO, I haven't posted in the longest time... it's time that I return - even if it is only to bless LJ with my magical presence, then glide away ethereally, leaving behind a hint of my perfume.

I'm alive
Just a quick note, for whoever might care, to say that I'm still alive. I'm almost 4 months in my new advertising job, it is great and I love it! There's nothing much new to say, and what there is (my house hunting misadventures!), I don't feel like writing about it now. -
About the premiere of "300" in London

I saw "300" on the weekend. Obviously.
Gerry, as usual, outdid himself. There was nothing of him on King Leonidas... no hint of Gerryness. He's such a fantastic actor. It made me miss his sweetness.
Nothing could have prepared me for the heart-wrecking, saliva-forming amont of golden skinned muscle. Jesus Christ. I feel really sorry for Gerry for all ( Read more... ) -
Strange fun
Anybody here plays with the stock market?
I always thought this would be hugely painful (like Math) and dull. But it’s actually as fun as gambling in Vegas - without the odds being with the house. :-) I learnt about stocks about a year ago, and since I don’t have much money to invest, I keep buying and selling the same $1000 over and over, just ( Read more... ) -
