Recently I joined a certain Advertising club here in Seattle, and joined a certain committee. We are working on a campaign for a certain non-profit. - One of the writers from my group (Sam) had decided to leave. :-(
- Guns N' Roses will play on Gigantinho, in Porto Alegre. (What the hell??? Is this real? This kind of stuff didn't happen when I lived there!)

Procrastrinating books
I just finished reading (and writing a synopsis of) 2 books about Procrastrination. One was full of shit; the other was extremely helpful. Fashion Consultant
This is weird, but today I met with a Fashion Consultant at Starbucks. I'll be hiring her services soon. I never developed much of a sense of fashion & style, I never know what looks good on me and what doesn't. It's time to change that. Book suggestions from someone special...
Yesterday I wrote to F. asking for suggestions of good fiction novels. First because I KNEW that he'd have wonderful stuff to reccomend; second because I wanted to say hi, start a casual conversation, like friends should be comfortable doing. Today he replied, sweet and poetic as always, with a nice list of books. :-) -

Resumes for Chemistry, Flaky Art Directors
Since I'm taking for-e-ver to get a job in Advertising, and since we'll be needing a 2nd income when we buy a house (which we're planning on doing within a year), I decided to be flexible... Today I send resumes for Chemistry jobs. :-(

Blood test results
Today I got the results of my blood tests. My thyroid is all messed up - I have to see an endocrinologyst ASAP. (My own fault; I haven't seen one since Dr. Carvajal!). My cholesterol and triglicerydes are 3x less than last month (and the month before), which makes NO SENSE (even if I'm taking Lipitor). It's probably wrong. My lymphs (white blood ( Read more... ) -
I own a gun!
I went with my baby to a gun show in Puyallup. HE BOUGHT ME A GUN!!!!!! I wasn't planning on having a gun (had actually made up my mind NOT to have one), but this one was SO PRETTY that I couldn't resist. :-) It's a Colt Frontier Scout 0.22 LR.
