A free CD of new Brazilian music came with the weekend Grauniad. It's quite fun. One of the artists appears to be signed to Slag Records, which amused me so much I looked them up. I thought you might like to see their website: it's beautiful :D -

Just seen Hillsborough football ground on the news. Looks like they might have to take up water polo instead! Hope everyone is warm and dry still.
Has anyone heard from CJ? I texted her last night, but no reply. If there's no power that's not surprising I guess. Or she could be in the Hebrides again :) -

Apparently we have a camera somwhere at work, so I may be able to get geeky photos of the TARDIS. Maybe next week. -

The best thing about Television Centre is not the celebrity spotting (I only ever see Jeremy Paxman anyway for some reason). No it's the fact that every so often the TARDIS will pop up in the carpark. It makes me grin every time :) Sometimes it's on wheels. -

I saw Gogol Bordello last night thanks to the very nice mattfromoz over at Avenue B. They were amazing and I touched Eugene's hair. I had an amazing time last night! In fact I ended up dancing on stage with Mahala Rai Banda, who were absolutely brilliant. When I got down I went to dance in the aisle with the girl sitting next to me and we were suddenly dancing right next to Eugene Hutz! (and his girlfriend...grrr :( ) What an awesome night! -

I've been on a basketmaking course. I produced one basket under supervision which looks great, and one slightly wonky basket on my own afterwards :) I reckon I can do better next time though. I also aqcuired some cuttings of basketmaking willows (Purple Continental, Dicky Meadows and something else) which have rooted nicely. Hurrah ( Read more... ) -
