So I was watching HBO Family today, and I realized I needed to make one of my passions a regular thing here. And that would be "great bad movies." There's not much it takes to be a great bad movie. But they tend to be either a) made in the 1980's, b) be based on sci-fi, c) take themselves too seriously, and/or d) be cheesy, yet still watchable ( Read more... )

So this weekend was pretty groovy. My main damie Greg came back to Ames from the weekend (he's got a grownup job in Chicago now,) and it was a blast. We spent most of our time at Welch Ave. Station, sadly enough, but at least we had some logic for most of it.
