Well, I don't have much to report. We are alive and well in Vietnam. The trip here wasnt too painful. The usual walking and queues involved with an overland border crossing but nothing too strenuous. We changed buses at the border and caught a boat over the Mekhong in Cambodia but all in all quite a stress free trip ( Read more... )

Yesterday was a long day! It's strange how doing nothing but sitting on a bus can be so tiring! We woke up at 6 am (after only 3 hours sleep!) and caught a taxi (with the help of a hotel receptionist who acted as a translator) to Humphalong Train Station.
