Yesterday when I was walking home around Hermitage and Winnemac, a newer Chrystler rolled by with the stereo pumping out a full-on Norteño cover version of "Hotel California". That was 10 seconds of heaven! -
Where are the penguins?
Took a short bike ride up to the Northwestern Campus in Evanston and back....to clear my mind mainly. I guess it worked as my worries and troubles were replaced by fragments of the people and places I briskly rode past...- Smiling cops watching me turn left and signal like a dork.

Long weekend update...
Friday night was vfc's birthday bash down at Sidekicks and I had a total blast! vfc was kind enough to let me use one of her karaoke cds (I need to figure out one obtains their own karaoke cd!) and thus I was able to perform my first ever (public) Morrissey rendition. Ok, I've written before about my guilty pleasure...Celebrity Poker Showdown. Specifically my guilty pleasure is Phil Gordon, Dave Foley's sidekick. Make that former sidekick.
