{voice}The disturbances in the high school appear to have been shortlived. Rumors of a haunting are said to have been greatly exaggerated; the most likely cause is the use of someone's powers, whether deliberately or inadvertently due to chip removal ( Read more... )

I haven't tried to drink the water from the late, but I'm thinking it might not be the safest. But, most the buildings had a water take put together on the roof, and some of us who can summon water have been providing it for the different buildings.

I am aware of the water being provided by several of the residents; on the other hand, it is uncertain at best that we can rely on the continued presence of those providing this service.

Moreover, I believe we have the resources to sterilize the water, do we not?

It is a problem if someone were to leave, I was hoping to see if I could develop a method of supplying water without needing to be around. I haven't exactly figured it out yet though.

It should be fine if we boil it I think, I haven't examined it or anything, so I don't know what may or may not be wrong with it.

Did you have any preliminary ideas? It seems the best way is to use the resources already provided in this world.

You have some means of determining whether the water is safe, at least, to boil?

What were the details of this trouble?

.. It was during the fog in early September, I think? A lot of static, people's broadcasts were being interrupted by it. And then some apparently... saw things on video sometimes.

'Things' -- what manner of things?

I believe if you die outside of here, you're dead... But there seem to be those who are alive after they should have left this earth. It's all really rather confusing!

Oh, that haunting~! Wasn't that just frightful?

And what is the basis for that belief? And I am also curious as to what you mean by your second statement.

It was not terribly malicious nor interesting; a prank, it seems.

It would seem that outside of this land, the laws of life and death are still in tact. Here, people can die and come back as many times as they please! ... Or at least, I think. And, ah. I'm sure if you asked around you'd find some residents may remember their death before waking up here!

Most likely. It was just so unexpected! So many terrible things seem to happen that it's hard to pick the normal from the abnormal!

By 'this land', you mean the city itself, or the world at large? I was inquiring about the lands in this world outside this city. It is relatively logical that those who have died prior to arriving on this world can be revived here as well.

I have not been here long enough to see what is 'normal' or 'abnormal', but from what I hear, a great deal of 'abnormality' happens, in that it disrupts the lives of the residents.

I don't know if anyone has tried to drink it, but it is safe to swim in.

... I will keep that in mind. There seem to be no fish?

I don't think so...

It seems a virus that swept through the city started in the fish; that may account for the lack -- which, in that case, may be a good thing. Still, it is odd that the population has not recovered.

You know, you ask a lot of questions about this place. How about trying to introduce yourself.

I suppose I could, though it's irrelevant to the majority of the population here. You may call me Zexion.

Who cares, it's the best way to getting to know some people even if some like to live as a hermit, but it's a bad idea to try that here.

And you can call me Amy, short for Amy Rose. Nice to meet you Zexion.

I have no intention of becoming a hermit; I do not think these apartments nor the conditions in the city would permit it, in any case.

A pleasure, Amy Rose.
