When a stream becomes a brook
Yesterday when we ought to have been packing for our holiday we decided instead to go on a location hunt in South Wales - well The Forest of Dean actually.
The search was for the second stream they used in S3 E10
( location details for scene in The Queen of Hearts, 11 smallish photos ) -

On May 27th 2010 I spent the day at Castle Coch watching the filming of a scene.

Just seen the S3 trailer on BBC1 (different to the one they showed at SDCC) also the BBC Merlin web site has updated it now says...... wait for it........

Clements End - revisited to fell another tree
While I was at Speech House Lake recently I spoke to a guy who was fishing with his family. His name is Dave ( he's given me permission to use it ) and he works for the Forestry Commission. We talked about the lake and it's 'uses' and then out of the blue he told me that 'he'd cut a tree down across a path for Merlin'.

On a rather windy but dry day, May 3rd 2010, we made a visit to Tintagel in North Cornwall UK.
One reason for our visit was to take photographs of the castle and the headland where the legendary King Arthur was born.

Thank goodness at last I've booked our 'welsh' accommodation and I've decided which locations we're going to see this trip - two more trips planned. Alas one is in early June when I guess they'll all be away at Pierrefonds - well I'll just imagine they're around. -put my Ipod on and watch the episode that has the location in. Confusion
