We are the best nation ever for wiping out the mentally-ill, not-quite-terrorist segment of the population. I feel way safer. If an off-medication manic-depressive sneaks onto a plane that I'm on, for sure they will be caught. And shot! How awesome is that?

Had another meltdown yesterday. I am starting to feel like a grilled cheese sandwich. My December review at work was worse than my September review, and given all they've put is through, I was furious. Then I made the mistake of meeting with my boss to discuss said review. Of course I was not "calm" and "in control." Which made me look even worse.

I wonder if studies have been done on whether weddings last longer when the bride and groom send out thank you notes? I have noticed that some of my friends have sent out notes and some haven't (I believe all my relatives have), and it seems to me that those that don't have somewhat rockier marriages (or perhaps lives) than those that do

There should be an easy way to replace a steering wheel and gas and brake pedals. Couldn't these be activated electronically from a button you press on a pad? Do we really need to use the force of a foot to accelerate, and to steer with hands? There has to be a design way around this

I'm going to visit Paducah this weekend. Started going through my writing, and I think I am deciding that I will go someplace cheap and work on the writing for awhile. Grad school is seeming like less of a good idea, though I'll probably still apply to: UIC, U Denver and University of Missouri. I'm thinking more of holing up somewhere and working
