don't risk the chance of hurting yourself, love.
i know it'll be tedious, but just wait it out. distract yourself.. don't think about exercise for those 6-8 weeks.

what are you stats, btw?

maybe you should switch things up a bit....
try to eat more than what you're having now. sounds odd, i know, but your body is probably adjusting to your routine so it feels like you're not making an change to lose any more weight.
even trying to change up your exercise regimine could help alot.

good luck!

well, just remember, if you eat more than what you burn it gets stored, and when you burn more than you consume, fat goes down, id say the best thing you can do is th walking and light elliptical, while mainting the same calorie/nutritionally dense diet. youre in good shape, so youll recover faster than peoiple expect, but not in one day ;) and if you hurt it again, youre out for 2-3 months, assuming it wasnt so bad that you were out permenantly... not worth the risk

maybe do light elliptical for 2 weeks, and then increase it one notch a weekuntil youre at 8 and see how things are (obviously, if you feel pain after a workout, you need to slow/stop that activity immediatley)

:)
