See? Told ya you were fine to go any day now! I'll put you at the top of the preggo list now, since you're looking to be next in line to deliver!

Remember, eat something before you go to the hospital. Don't forget this, for they will starve you once you're there. (Unless you're like me and have hubs smuggle in McD's and snarf it down so fast the nurses don't have a chance to stop you!)

Oh, I'll be sure. Even the doc said to stay home as long as I can so I can keep eating on a regular schedule. Since I'm on the glyburide they'll be monitoring my BS while I'm in the hospital. She was talking about some women needing insulin, but to be honest, with the glyburide and not eating I'd be concerned about low blood sugar and passing out moreso than high bs.

But they'll take care of me with that. She said they have popsickles and that's about it. My doc says I can drink whatever I want to as well, so at least I don't have to go with ice chips.

I'm glad you're not restricted to the ice chips.

Me too. I hate ice chips, I have sensitive teeth.

Ha! You might not. I'll find a way to get it to you. Hee! You knitting fiend!

I didn't get nearly the stuff I wanted to knit done for this kid. I have one sweater done, one in pieces ready to put together, and a hat. I have one hat in the works (I could finish it pretty quickly) and I'd love to make some sockies. Maybe someday? Heh.

You may have a tax deduction yet.

Ha! The substitute doctor decided to take a look at the schedule and nonchalantly said "Your doctor is on call on New Year's Eve..."

Heh. I still think it could be a little while, but I did some walking around tonight so maybe that helps a little.

Ooo, exciting! Maybe you'll get the New Year's baby :) Does your town do anything special for the first baby born of the new year?

Gods I hope not. I don't even want a photo in the paper, I know some towns do that.

It's not safe these days.

What are you going to post in your Live Journal after this pregnancy period? Also, where is my big, fat royalty check? Also where do you want to go out for dinner Saturday night? Maybe something like eggplant parmesian. Worked for Keely in kicking out the kid.

I don't know. I'll have to go back to bitching about work or something. I'm sure you'll be on the edge of your seat.

Or I could post pictures of baby poo.

Royalty check? Heh. Never. I will, however, advertise for you. Lazy ass.

Eggplant parmesan would be great except that eggplant is one of the few food allergies I actually have. I puff up like the staypuft marshmallow man.

I've heard spicy food can induce labor. I don't seem to have that problem since I'm still having contractions on and off. Heh.

I'll still be going to work until they get too bad, too. I'd bore myself senseless staying home.

Puff up? So, why would that be any different from now.

You make it too easy!

Oh, and by the way, I'm so taking you up on Dim Sum it isn't even funny. That, and noodles. Oh, and white %$^#%ing rice. And.. and..

DUMPLINGS FOR GODS' SAKE!
