I have a math class starting on Tuesday, but we have already seen the course schedule so I can get a head start starting today. I have skimmed through the text book and thought there was no way in hell we could cover the entire book in just five weeks. I was wrong. Yes. I have never been this nervous before a surgery before. LASIK is the safest surgery I have ever had. No anesthesia... Hell, there isn't even an IV in you. The whole surgical procedure takes about two minutes (both eyes). Why am I so nervous?

I am entering the 'trough' of of my cycle. This is depressing. As like my 'crest', I am not looking forward to it. I have my cats.

One of the few times it is beneficial to being an insomniac is when you are on 24 hour staff duty. You virtually do nothing. Staff duty consists of one Officer, one senior NCO (Sgt First Class) and a junior soldier to the garbage work. For so long, I have been living 24 hour days. When I fall asleep, usually medicinally induced (or while seated in my car) and awaken, I feel as if I missed something. I have 'lost' the time I was asleep... and want it back.

My mood disorder (aka Bi-Polar) used to be so cyclical that I could predict and prepare in advance what 'mood' I was entering or recoup from the one I was going to leave behind. I finally get my left knee/hamstring looked at today. Ironically, the last time I was going to have it looked at was on October 6th... the day my finger was chopped off.
