So last weekend Odi and I went to Kaygetsu for dinner. Goodness, I definitely want to visit again... the only item I didn't inhale was the dessert (I expect "flan" to be sweet, darnit!)

I'm clearing out my closet to find room for all the new clothes I bought this weekend. Many random things later, I came across this. I'm amused.

Mmm, I just made my best bread-type thing yet... these cream cheese cinnamon rolls turned out great, even though I modified the recipe. I went on another Costco visit yesterday (yikes it was hot!)... for those of you who use makeup and has a Costco nearby, Stila has a complexion set for $16.99 in light or medium that has a tinted moisturizer, pressed powder, illuminating finishing powder, and a brush. I found (pieces of) this recipe written down on a scrap piece of paper while I was trying to schedule a doctor's appointment, so let me type this up before I accidentally toss it out :( This recipe is probably not very useful for anyone else, since I don't really have any measurements (plus fish maw isn't exactly a common ingredient):

I modified this recipe after I saw Joy's recipe for whole wheat chocolate chip cookies but wanted something with oats in it. I ran out of chocolate chips, so I grabbed the bar of heath toffee chips and dumped all of those in :D Note to self: try this some time.

So, now that the dress that I wanted is on sale for half off, I decided to pick that one up too :O I can't use the 20% off coupon they gave me before, but I guess I would've purchased this dress instead if it was 80 bucks.
