Yes - my money finally showed up in my bank account, and I also got a letter the same day about my claim and that I could request documentation as to why these funds were kept from me for a week and a half. I've been taking these vitamins - just a multi-vitamin. But after nearly a month of taking these, my breath smells like them, my sweat smells like them, my pee smells like them and has changed to a strange color - actually the pee thing happened early on and have been told that's normal - this is probably more information than most of you would ( Read more... )

Today I made the reservation to go to Hawaii and stay with my Sister Cathy, her Husband Jerry and Jerry's Mom Ada for awhile. A big step for me, as I don't reach out for help easily. This is the hard part. How can those of us that aren't sure of the GOD thing get past Step 2? You can't. AA says that you can reach a higher power that doesn't have anything to do with GOD, but it all really points in that direction when it comes right down to it. OK - so my insurance company paid nearly $8 K for me be treated for alcoholism - which kind of pissed me off a bit, as the county will pay $3500 for someone who is court-ordered - and they will do it multiple times for a particular individual, but I'm now maxxed out on my lifetime benefit at this point with my insurance company - unless I become ( Read more... )

For me this took a very long time, as I did not have time for alot of years to be an alcoholic. I had a demanding job - had to travel extensively. For many it takes very little time.
