God, now I feel even more pathetic for not getting anything for Christine today. If it's any consolation, though, I bought her something that came in a little robin's egg blue box to commemorate each birth, but my idea of "romance" with a new house on the horizon involves upgrading the cabinet pulls to something fancy.

Looks like I'll be stopping off at Anthropologie after work today.

I was reading the poem, remembering I'd read it before, and trying to figure out what my teacher had said about it, and that was about it - he's just trying to get her to give it up through romantic imagery ;)
