Last season's South Park episode on Scientology was one of their funniest ever. It's caused much uproar, from causing Isaac Hayes to quit to having Tom Cruise threaten not to promote MI:3 if Comedy Central reruns the episode (they're owned by the same parent company).

Matt and Trey were officially quoted in Variety as saying:

I have to be honest, when I read a news article about Isaac Hayes quitting South Park my first thought was "that show is still on?"

We still Tivo it, and there is usually about one episode a season that makes me cry from laughing so hard.

I really dislike Matt and Trey's politics, but I wholeheartedly agree with their "We make fun of EVERYBODY" policy

Apparently, South Park is Comedy Central's highest rated show. Amazing.
